Happy Hour Fitness – Monday,
Wednesday and Friday at 8 a.m. This
class keeps your brain fit and your heart,
lungs and muscles strong with a combina-
tion of aerobics and muscle conditioning
exercises and balance. Hand weights,
stretch cords and your body weight will
be used. Class begins with a joke and
ends with a positive thought for the
day. Athletic footwear required. Silvia

Essential Total Fitness – Monday,
Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m . and
11 a.m. Cardio, muscle strengthening
and flexibility training with hand weights,
stretch cords, chairs and stability balls.
Athletic footwear required. Mahnaz
Bassiri is the instructor.
Power Hour Fitness – Tuesday
and Thursday at 8 a.m . Hand weights,
stretch cords, stability balls and mats are
used. Improve core strength and bal-
ance. Athletic footwear required. Mahnaz

Gentle Yoga – Tuesday and Thursday
at 9:30 a.m . Stretch, tone and strengthen
while improving flexibility, proper align-
ment and circulation. Mats are used to
meet the needs of varying experience
levels. Bring a towel. Kim Kouril is the
Chair Yoga – Tuesday and Thursday
at 11 a.m. Similar to Gentle Yoga but all

The Sanibel Historical Village board
and committee members will con-
duct a special training program
to get new docents started and to help
current docents refresh their memories
about the many historical buildings, arti-
facts and stories to share with visitors.
The program will consist of two
classes. The first of the two classes will be
at 1 p.m. January 18 in the village’s Old
Schoolhouse and will feature presenta-
tions by village experts as well as a guided
tour through the village.
The second training class is scheduled
for 1 p.m. January 25, also at the Old

Admission is $10 for adults over age 18
while under age 18 and members are
free. Docent-guided tours are available at

charge, based upon docent availability.

Coile To Perform
Concerts For FISH
Chris Coile, a local musician and
entertainer, will be performing
four concerts to benefit FISH of
SanCap. The first concert will be held
on Tuesday, January 19 from 6 to 7:30
p.m . at George and Wendy’s Seafood
Grill. Coile will be joined by local sing-
ers Sandy Greco, Cindy Cola and Dee
Coile has been performing for more
than 30 years, primarily on the east
coast and Montana. Classic rock and roll,
country, island and big band standards
are his tunes of choice. He performs the
number one hits from four decades by
artists including Dion, Kenny Rogers, Otis
Redding, Bobby Darin, Tim McGraw,
Juice Newton, Elvis Presley, The Beatles,
The Eagles, Jim Croce, Elton John, Carol
King, Jimmy Buffett and many more.
There is no cover charge or minimum
to attend the Coile performances; all
donations to FISH are voluntary. All of
Coile’s CD sales will go directly to FISH.
